Yueqian is a student at the University of Ottawa, where she is currently the Vice President of the English Debating Society. Her achievements include winning the 2024 Colgate IV, breaking at McGill IV 2025 and Canadian Parliamentary Nationals 2025, and advancing to finals at the 2024 Socrates Global Debate Competition, hosted in partnership with the North America Mandarin Debate Association.
